The weather was too nice to not go sailing so Dylan and I took the day off to explore Casco Bay. I also had been looking for a good excuse to fly my drone in that magic area past Peaks and Cushing Islands where you’re allowed to fly without special permission.

We were lucky enough to catch the Coast Guard Eagle coming in past Portland Head Light and also lucky enough not to capsize sailing downwind with the waves and heavier wind right in front of them.

Filmed on a Sony FX30 with the Sony 24mm 1.4 GM and 50 1.4 GM and a DJI Mavic 3 Pro with PolarPro Vivid Filters. The audio was a Rode NTG5 into the FX30 XLR Handle.
