I love the challenge of creating portraits of a new person in just a few minutes. It’s a fascinating combination of making the subject feel comfortable in a few quick seconds and then helping them pose and look their best in as many different poses as I can fit in the allotted time. I always come home overflowing with stories and tidbits from my subjects and then deliver a wide range of looks for each person.

These portraits are from two recent days creating environmental portraits at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of my favorite university campuses to explore. This was a colder set of days than I would have chosen but we made the best of it!
